TikTok is labeled "Extremely destructive" by Elon Musk after study reveals negative consequences

The social networking site “TikTok” has been criticized for having negative impacts on certain age groups, according to billionaire Elon Musk.

On Sunday, Musk posted a research regarding the negative consequences of the video-sharing app “TikTok” on his Twitter account. Elon published a photo of a paper summary about the scientists who made up profiles for pretend 13-year-old users, and whose feeds were then inundated with videos on eating disorders, body image issues, self-harm, and suicide. Musk tagged it with the phrase “Extremely destructive if accurate.”

Linda Yaccarino was named the next CEO of Twitter earlier on Friday after billionaire declared his intention to resign as the position over the next six weeks.

Musk, who paid USD 44 billion for Twitter last year, will keep a tight hold on the business and concentrate on product creation and innovative technologies.
Linda's main area of attention will be corporate operations.

He has branded Twitter as his own by firing more than 75% of its 7,500 workers, appointing his own executives, and altering its features and business model. Additionally, he made Twitter private, releasing him from the need to make company information public.

The departing CEO recently stated that Twitter will get another upgrade that would provide verified users early access to an encrypted chat service.

Only verified users are currently allowed to get the update.

Once he found “someone foolish enough” to take over as CEO of Twitter, Musk declared back in December, he would stand down from his position. Variety reports that Musk just changed the company's name to “X Corp.” as the parent of Twitter.
