Social Activist Dr. Binu Varghese Honored for Traffic Safety Contributions by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde

Dr. Binu Varghese, a dedicated social activist, was felicitated by the Thane Police Commissionerate for his outstanding contributions to traffic safety and social work. The ceremony took place during the Thane Traffic Carnival at Saket Ground, coinciding with the 77th Republic Day celebrations.

 

Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde presented the award, acknowledging Dr. Varghese’s timely support and updates on traffic-related issues. The event was attended by senior officials, including Commissioner of Police Shri Ashutosh Dumbre, Thane District Collector Shri Shrikrishna Panchal, TMC Commissioner Shri Saurabh Rao and senior IPS officers.

 

Dr. Varghese’s efforts have focused on promoting road safety and addressing social issues in Thane. His recognition highlights the importance of community involvement in creating safer roads and a more responsible society.
