<p><strong>Bastar Box Office Collection Day 2:</strong> Following the enormous success of “The Kerala Story,” Adah Sharma and director Sudipto Sen have reunited for “Bastar: The Naxal Story.” The film, which is based on the Naxalite-Maoist conflict in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar area, also features Raima Sen, Vijay Krishna, Indira Tiwari, Shilpa Shukla, Yashpal Sharma, and Subrat Dutta. “Bastar” had a slow start to the weekend at the box office, but on day two, its revenues somewhat increased.</p>

<p>As to preliminary estimates, “Bastar: The Naxal Story” brought in Rs 75 lakh on day two, according to Sacnilk.com. After earning Rs 40 lakh on its first day of release, the movie has already made almost Rs 1.15 crore.</p>
<p><strong>Bastar Debate:</strong></p>
<p>Before the film’s premiere, “Bastar” caused a stir when some JNU students staged protests against it. The kids even called for the “Bastar” creators to be held accountable. Adah added, “When you play a tough cop like Neerja Mathur in Bastar, I want people to think that I portrayed her in the strongest, most fearless, and powerful way,” in an interview with News18 on the criticism. I want everyone to take my words in the movie seriously.</p>
<p>She is expressing her indignation at having seen the 76 jawans murdered and dismembered when she claims that they were slaughtered and that she wants to shoot them down. While I may not phrase it like Adah does, Neerja would,” she said.</p>
