According to E-Times, Sukesh’s attorney Anant Malik wrote Mika Singh a letter that said, “Your comment has sparked considerable public talk about our client’s character and personality, putting him on trial by the media. Due to the constant media attention, this predicament is aggravating his already distressing position.

“Our customer is a well-known businessman who is well-liked in the Indian film industry, as well as other commercial organizations and political circles. Both domestically and internationally, he has a strong reputation. Being a part of the Bollywood business yourself, you are acutely aware of the challenges involved in making a name for oneself. However, your remarks not only damaged our client’s reputation but also had a negative impact on his personal and professional lives, it said.

Mika Singh’s statement was further described in the notification as a “deliberate and desperate” attempt to damage Sukesh’s reputation. Additionally, it made it quite obvious that such behavior won’t be accepted. The warning said, “Therefore, you are hereby put on notice that by your derogatory comment, you have committed serious criminal offence of defamation, and are therefore liable to be prosecuted, among other things, under the provisions of Sections 499/500 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.”

Mika Singh was also issued an apology by Sukesh, who reportedly threatened legal action against the singer. It is important to note that defamation is a crime with a maximum two-year prison sentence. Additionally, you are informed that your statement violates our client’s personality rights, which are protected by Article 21 of the Constitution. The notification said, “You (Mika) are also requested to immediately apologize to our client unconditionally, stop and desist from making any additional false, scurrilous, defamatory and derogatory claims, and cease and desist from harassing our client in any way.

Chandrashekhar is now detained in Delhi’s Mandoli prison in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion case, for the uninitiated. According to rumors, he was dating Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. The diva has previously denied having a romantic involvement of any type with Sukesh, despite the fact that she is a defendant in the case and has often been interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
