Given that Nagal’s opponent does not even have a rating on the ATP computer, it was anticipated to be a straightforward second-round encounter for the 159th-ranked Nagal.

Nagal, the fifth seed and first-round bye recipient, defeated his opponent 6-0, 6-0 in only 45 minutes.

He will compete against the winner of the other second-round match between Firuz Mukhidinov of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan’s Beibit Zhukayev.

Later on in the day, the second-seeded Indian team of Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan will face Abhishek Bastola and Pradip Khadka of Nepal to begin their men’s doubles campaign in what is predicted to be another easy victory for the Indians.
