<p>Birthday boy Akshay Kumar stated in an interview that he first met Twinkle during a photo session for Filmfare. During the making of the 1999 movie International Khiladi, they both fell in love. Twinkle said in an interview that she had just ended a committed relationship before meeting Akshay.</p>
<p>Akshay was reportedly in Calgary for a 15-day schedule of outdoor filming for a project at the time, according to Twinkle. She opted to relax with Akshay since she had finished reading all of her novels and there was no television. They fell in love with one another by the time the outside filming was complete. You’ll be shocked to learn that Twinkle twice proposed to Akshay.</p>
<p>The premiere of Twinkle’s movie Mela coincided with Akshay’s marriage proposal to her. Twinkle had faith that the movie would be a hit.
