<p>The new-generation Superb will now be briefly reintroduced to the Indian market by Skoda. It will only be offered in the highest-end L&K trim. <p>Skoda will export the new Superb to India in compliance with the GSR 870 law, which enables producers to import up to 2,500 units of any right-hand-drive vehicle falling under the M and L categories without the need for homologation. Skoda India will be able to return the Superb with the improved 2.0-litre TSI engine, which generates 190 horsepower and is paired to a single 7-speed DSG gearbox, without having to go through homologation.</p>
<p>What’s New about the Fourth Generation Skoda Superb?<br />
The Superb, a first for a Skoda in India, has a peak speed of 210 km/h and ADAS features including lane-keeping assistance and adaptive cruise control. There will also be a 360-degree camera park assistance. Additionally standard will be Skoda’s adaptive chassis control technology, an active tyre pressure monitoring system, and nine airbags.</p>
<p>The fourth-generation Superb will come in three different color options: New Rosso Brunello, New Water World Green, and Magic Black.</p>
<p>The standard 17-inch alloy wheels will be produced by Stratos. It will also have a Columbus Infotainment system, something the Indian-made Superb did not have.</p>
<p>Skoda Superb Cost: (Anticipated)<br />
Because it will be a CBU, the price of the next Skoda Superb may rise dramatically. In order to put things into perspective, the top-spec L&K trim of the Skoda Superb, which was manufactured in India, cost around Rs 37 lakh (ex-showroom).
