<p>Arleen Sorkin, an actress best known for lending her recognizable voice to Harley Quinn in the beloved animated series “Batman: The Animated Series,” has passed away at the age of 67.</p>

<p>James Gunn wrote the following message on his X: “Rest in peace Arleen Sorkin, the incredibly talented voice of Harley Quinn, who helped to create the character that so many of us love.”</p>
<p>We are devastated to hear that the bright and gifted Arleen Sorkin has passed away, commented Mark Hamill, who collaborated with her and provided the famous voice of the Joker in the television series. <p>The character of Harley Quinn, the Joker’s crazy lover and accomplice in crime, was created specifically for the show before becoming a comic book character owing to her enormous popularity, and Arleen Sorkin was the first person to ever voice her.</p>
